Shape adult education at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT) as an Adult Basic Education Instructor. Support diverse learners in the Adult 10 program through innovative teaching and strong community engagement.
In this role, a Bachelor of Education and a Saskatchewan teaching certificate are essential. You will be involved in delivering six courses, preparing comprehensive lesson plans, and utilizing technology for enhanced learning outcomes. Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative classroom environment in line with SIIT’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons for the Adult 10 program

• Maintain course-related documentation and evaluations

• Adapt teaching methods incorporating technology

• Propose improvements to curriculum and evaluation criteria

• Foster a supportive and diverse classroom culture
Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education from an accredited institution

• Valid Saskatchewan teaching certification or eligibility

• Understanding of adult learning theory is a benefit

• Knowledge of First Nations cultures is beneficial

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
