Maintenance Planner – Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and optimizing all maintenance activities, including the full utilization of a computerized maintenance management system. The focus of the position is to support maintenance activities that are performed safely, cost‑effectively, and to an acceptable quality standard.
Desired Qualifications- A strong technical background, gained through relevant post‑secondary education.
- Experience building comprehensive job plans and work packages.
- Coordination experience for maintenance outages (both minor and major).
- Experience building work schedules to optimize maintenance opportunities in a 24/7 operation.
- Understanding of stores / spare parts management processes and the ability to utilize available resources and plan for the future.
- In‑depth understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices, along with advanced skills in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Experience creating, revising, and maintaining Bills of Material.
- Ability to work with a team of planners and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
- Build routine and extended outage maintenance plans to keep the mill operating at its best.
- Use project‑management concepts to efficiently manage both major and minor maintenance outages.
- Leverage planning and organizing skills to ensure staffing, tools, equipment, and materials are in place for the trades team, enabling safe and rapid completion of planned maintenance.
- Partner with departments across the mill to deliver excellent customer service.
- Competitive salary based on skills and experience ($80,250.00 – $ per year).
