- A)
Perform daily tasks associated with the safe and efficient operation of the arena and surrounding grounds. - B)
Move nets to side of arena surface (may require lifting) before during and after all regular scheduled ice rentals. - C)
Return nets to the crease including pegs. - D)
Regular janitorial duties of the arena include, but not limited to, sweeping and washing floors, washroom and changing room cleaning and disinfecting, power washing, garbage pick-up and general cleaning duties as necessary. - E)
Assisting the Ice Facility Operator to maintain and monitor ice plant by daily inspections and alerting the Arena Manager of any problems. - F)
Snow removal, when necessary, from sports complex sidewalks and emergency exits. - G)
Assist the Ice Facility Operator with maintaining and performing minor repairs to sports facilities mechanical equipment and refer all major repairs to Arena Manager for alternate contractors to be contacted. - H)
Monitor the facility during rental functions and events to ensure public safety and safe operations. - I)
Provision of emergency first aid services including documentation of all services provided. - J)
Patrol the facility regularly to ensure rules and regulations are being followed. - K)
Safeguard, supplies and equipment. - L)
Organize equipment set up and take down. - M)
Pro Shop retail sales, replenish stock, assist with inventory. - N)
Advise the Arena Manager immediately of all equipment damage, malfunction or unsafe conditions.
