Community Health Nursing Supervisor Position

Join the Meadow Lake Tribal Council as a Community Health Nursing Supervisor. This full-time role focuses on public health programs, nursing supervision, and community health initiatives in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

The MLTC is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a permanent position overseeing community health nursing services. The successful candidate will manage mandatory public health programs and assess nursing practices across nine First Nations. This vital role contributes to health promotion, disease control, and essential community health services through direct supervision and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise community health nurses during public health programs

• Plan and evaluate health initiatives within communities

• Conduct health assessments and population health evaluations

• Provide exceptional support for home care and primary care programs

• Facilitate immunization and communicable disease control efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required

• 3-5 years’ experience in nursing and supervision

• Registered or eligible for registration with CRNS

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Fluency in Cree/Dene is an asset
