We are hiring for both Hospitalist and Nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Nocturnist candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team

Collaboration:

• Become part of a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Meadville Medical Center.
• Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed community hospital.

Qualifications:

• MD/DO
• Board-certified/eligible in medicine/pediatrics, family or internal medicine
• Pennsylvania State Medical License or the ability to apply for one
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Authorized to work in the United States

Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver full-spectrum care for low-to-moderate acuity patients, from assessment and diagnosis to treatment and consultation
• Admit and care for adult and pediatric inpatients
• The hospital has a closed ICU. No procedural and code requirements
• For those who like to teach, we work with family medicine residents from the Meadville Medical Center family medicine residency
