Estimator - Commercial Waterproofing & Restoration

Quest Personnel has partnered with a privately owned restoration and waterproofing organization known for outstanding ground‑up waterproofing projects and complex commercial restorations. The company has experienced remarkable growth, expanding to thousands of employees across the United States and operating in North Carolina with a strong track record of exceeding targets.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a robust background in commercial waterproofing or large loss restoration who is looking for long‑term progression and exciting projects.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop competitive project bids.
• Independently perform detailed quantity take‑offs to support estimating and bid preparation.
• Review and analyze construction drawings, architectural renderings, and specifications to gather all necessary bid information.
• Compute material quantities—including square footage and linear footage—based on project documents.
• Conduct site visits to collect data needed for estimating renovations, repairs, and building modifications.
• Develop customized design recommendations and project solutions based on client needs.
• Prepare professional quotation proposals, including product details, scope descriptions, general conditions, and supporting documentation.
• Use company estimating software to produce precise, timely, and well‑structured bids.
• Perform estimating for commercial waterproofing scopes, with familiarity in related products and services.

• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and core construction disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• 2–5 years of construction industry experience, ideally including work on multi‑story structures.
• Understanding of waterproofing systems, materials, and application methods.
• A positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges.
