Kernodle Clinic is Duke Health's largest community-based multi-specialty practice with 60 physicians and 46 APPs in 16 medical and surgical specialties practicing in Burlington, Mebane, and Elon, NC.

The team currently includes six physician partners and one APP of Kernodle Pediatrics at our Elon location, and we are establishing a new site in Mebane, opening in fall 2026. This pediatrician role will have a clinical faculty title (non-regular rank title) with our School of Medicine.

• We offer a full-time 4-day work week with no extended or weekend clinic hours
• Clinical responsibilities are outpatient in nature, with no newborn rounding
• Call is 1:7 weekdays and weekends, with a triage answering service being the first line of communication to parents
• Abridge AI Scribe is available to reduce time spent charting

Mebane Pediatrics group will build our pediatric presence in Mebane, NC in our new construction, estimated completion Fall 2026:

• Join close to 10 specialties in our new office located in Mebane, NC!
• Similar practice model and resources to Elon location
