Jabil is seeking a motivated and skilled individual for a Tooling Position within our dynamic and supportive environment. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing processes through expert tooling development, maintenance, and repair.

• Design, fabricate, modify, and repair a wide range of tooling, fixtures, and jigs used in manufacturing processes.
• Perform preventative maintenance on existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
• Troubleshoot tooling-related issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand tooling requirements and provide expert recommendations.
• Operate various machine shop equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines, to create and refine tooling components.
• Inspect finished tooling to ensure adherence to specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling design, processes, and materials.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in Tool & Die Making, Machining, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in a tooling, mold making, or precision machining role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and measurement techniques.
• Familiarity with various machine shop equipment (manual and/or CNC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
