We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Employee to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for cleaning production equipment, work areas, floors, and other facility spaces to help ensure a safe, sanitary environment and compliance with food safety requirements. Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, utensils, and work surfaces according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout production areas, including floors, walls, drains, and workstations.
• Follow sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain food safety standards.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely and properly.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and complete sanitation checklists and documentation.
• Remove waste, dispose of materials properly, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Inspect equipment and production areas to ensure cleanliness before production begins.
• Report sanitation concerns, equipment issues, or potential food safety hazards to supervisors.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable food safety regulations.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain proper hygiene practices.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure sanitation standards are consistently met.

• Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, manufacturing, or a similar role is preferred.
• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and workplace safety is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
• Comfortable working around production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in wet areas and around cleaning chemicals while following appropriate safety procedures.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and follow sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
