• Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot components such as engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel system components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• 3+ years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in major component diagnosis/troubleshooting; ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong problem‑solving, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions and lift up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Full attendance and adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
