Principal System Support Specialist

Summary:

Our global Unified Communication and Collaboration team is looking for a new team member!

Unified Communication and Collaboration team is part of DHL ITS Digital Workspace Services – Collaboration department. This role is Principal Support specialist and includes work on build activities and various projects, proactive & reactive support, high level technical support of team managing the daily operations of the UCC (Unified Communication and Collaboration) Services globally. About the team:

Global UCC team builds, supports and maintains various services, mainly MS Teams (incl. telephony and voice gateways). The team is responsible for global solutions mostly based on cloud technologies. The managed services are consumed by more than 400 000 users and this global team operates from 3 regions (Asia: MY, Europe: CZ, Americas: CR and US). We are looking for the candidate who would extend our team of highly skilled professionals in Americas.

What you will do:

Provide 2nd/3rd level of support of UCC and VoIP services

Provides Operations Acceptance activities to ensure accurate and timely release to production of new and/or enhanced services.

Ensure that the applications and their support is undertaken based on the IT Operational standards, executed in line with the ITS Process and delivered within the requested timescales

We emphasize teamwork hence provide advice and guidance to junior colleagues is a must Technologies you will use:

Shell Scripting Network troubleshooting

You should have some of these:

Passion for Communication technologies with focus on UCC and Voice over IPUnderstanding of Data Networks and Security standards

Ability to work independently and self-motivation, ability to drive projects forward

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience5+ years of working experience in Microsoft environment, Data Networks, IT administration and support in large global environment, advanced in Microsoft Teams, O365 components, experienced with Voice services

Must be able to communicate effectively in English for both written and oral

This is a normal working hour role Certified in MS Teams and any voice related certification

ITIL Foundation/ Certification knowledge a plus Experience in a large, multi-vendor, computing environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Entra , Conditional Access policies, identity and access management, and Azure networking services.
