Insight Global is seeking aWorkday Supply Chain Assessment Consultant for a leading healthcare client. This consultant will perform a comprehensive assessment of the organization's current Workday Supply Chain environment, focusing on Procurement, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Supplier Accounts, reporting, integrations, and user adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday Supply Chain optimization and advisory engagements, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
This role will be responsible for identifying system improvement opportunities, evaluating current-state processes, and delivering strategic recommendations that align with Workday best practices. The consultant will ultimately develop a prioritized roadmap that helps drive operational efficiency, system adoption, and long-term value from the Workday platform.
- Assess current Workday Supply Chain environment and overall system health
- Review Procurement, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Supplier Accounts, and related modules
- Evaluate workflows, system configurations, security settings, reporting, and integrations
- Conduct stakeholder interviews with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and IT teams
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
- Assess reporting and analytics capabilities
- Develop future-state recommendations aligned with Workday best practices
- Create a prioritized roadmap for system enhancements and improvements
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Partner with business and IT leaders to align technology capabilities with operational goals
- 5+ years of Workday Supply Chain experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Procurement
- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Inventory Management
- Prior Workday assessment, optimization, health check, or advisory experience
- Experience evaluating Workday configurations, workflows, reporting, and integrations
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and business stakeholders
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and current-state assessments
- Strong analytical and process improvement background
- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with Workday Sourcing
- Experience with Supplier Accounts/Supplier Management modules
- Reporting and analytics optimization experience
- Experience identifying automation opportunities within Workday
