Covenant Woods located in Hanover County is seeking a Full‑time Environmental Services Lead (minimum starting pay $17.00 hourly). The position requires the ability to clean all areas—including cottages, apartments, assisted living areas, and healthcare units—to the highest standards with minimal supervision, and to perform day‑to‑day cleaning in a designated area.

• Assist the Environmental Services Supervisor in maintaining oversight of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring optimal staff utilization.
• Thoroughly monitor the physical plant to assure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist management with various operational tasks, including event set‑ups, waste removal, floor care, housekeeping, and laundry.

• Minimum of 1 year in a lead housekeeping role carrying out housekeeping duties, preferably in a health‑care setting.
• Proficient knowledge of industry best practices for operating Environmental Services equipment, acquired through hands‑on experience.
• Previous floor care and event set‑up experience is a plus.

• Flexible hours including weekends; rotating holidays.

• 40 hours per week, schedule set by the Associate Director of Environmental Services and may be adjusted to meet work needs.
• Essential personnel position: must work during inclement weather, emergency events, and in dust, fumes, or odors.
• Work may involve hot or cold temperatures, wet or dry conditions, loud noise, and standing on concrete; usually performed alone.
