Cashier/Sales Associate - All Shifts

Shift Times: 8AM-4:30PM, 3PM-12:15AM

We’re looking for reliable, hard‑working team members to serve as the heart of our store. Responsibilities include running the register, maintaining cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and providing excellent customer service.

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales — ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe.
• Deep clean high‑use restrooms.
• Wipe down and sanitize gas pumps (nozzles, screens, water buckets).
• Pick up litter and trash from the floor and lot area.
• Take out the trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store — sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Volunteer to cross‑train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed.

• Must be 21+ (or 18+ for specific states as listed).
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work hard and stay on feet for most of the shift; comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Communication skills:
  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Math proficiency:
  Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
• Physical ability:
  Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pre‑employment screening:
  Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
• Personable and positive:
  Friendly demeanor and a knack for making people feel welcome.
• Detail‑oriented:
  Notice the little things that make a big difference in a customer’s experience.
• Reliable and responsible:
  Punctual, trustworthy, and take pride in your work.
• Flexible:
  Adaptable and ready to take on a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience is a plus:
  Previous experience in retail or customer service is appreciated but not required.
