Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. As a HVAC technician at Walmart, you will support and oversee repair of Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools.

$23.00/hr – $45.00/hr

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using hand, digital, and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in Walmart's refrigeration HVAC safety policy.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in city and/or state where the job is located.
