On behalf of our client, a prominent player in the Belgian telecommunications and infrastructure sector, we are looking for several Business Consultants. In this role, you will be a key driver in a major strategic collaboration focused on shared network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex services are optimized through strategic design and innovative problem-solving.
As a Business Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor and the vital link between business ambitions and technological execution. You won't just analyze; you will shape the future roadmap of large-scale infrastructure services by designing concepts that bridge the gap between complex technical data and real-world commercial impact.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Advisory:
Proactively identify business opportunities and operational challenges by engaging with diverse stakeholders. You translate these into clear value propositions and robust business cases.
Roadmap Development:
Shape and refine the business unit's strategic roadmap, balancing functional expertise with technical feasibility and market demands.
Conceptual Design:
Lead the architectural thinking for large-scale transformation projects, ensuring that new initiatives align with long-term organizational goals.
Bridge Business & Tech:
Act as the "translator" between technical engineering teams and business units. You challenge requirements to ensure every solution delivers maximum business value.
End-to-End Validation:
Define clear acceptance criteria and oversee the implementation phase, including coaching teams through change management and adoption.
Process Excellence:
Drive continuous improvement of business processes, ensuring documentation is high-quality, cost-efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Knowledge Leadership:
Serve as the subject matter expert for both internal departments and external partners, providing data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.
Who are we looking for?
Our client values a blend of analytical rigor and a collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
Education & Experience:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5-7 years of professional experience in business analysis, process management, or consultancy.
Analytical Mindset:
You possess strong conceptual thinking skills and a natural drive for "continuous improvement."
Technical Literacy:
Proven experience in process modeling and documentation is essential. Strong affinity for IT and/or network infrastructure domains is highly preferred.
Language:
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage.
Technical Toolkit:
Knowledge of SQL, Cloud environments (e.g., AWS), data modeling, or UX design are considered strong assets.
Experience with GIS (Location Intelligence) is a plus.
Methodology:
You are comfortable in Agile environments and have a deep understanding of modern business analysis best practices.
Stakeholder Management:
You are an excellent communicator who can navigate complex organizational landscapes and build trust across diverse teams.
