Regal Care is currently seeking a Regional HR/Payroll Director
. The Regional HR/Payroll Director will oversee and support human resources and payroll operations across multiple Regal Care facilities, including the Glen Ridge location. This position is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, accurate payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee HR and payroll operations across multiple facilities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Supervise facility-level HR and payroll staff, providing training, guidance, and performance support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits administration, and employee records.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures consistent with federal and state labor laws.
  • Partner with facility administrators and department heads to address staffing needs, employee relations, and retention strategies.
  • Manage investigations, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions with professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate benefits open enrollment, new hire onboarding, and compliance training.
  • Generate and review HR and payroll reports for upper management.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements, including DOH and DOL compliance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR and payroll management experience, preferably in long‑term care or healthcare.
  • Multi‑site or regional HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws, payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, or similar), and HRIS software.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel between assigned facilities as needed.
