Position SummaryFEI is seeking a Sr. Licensed Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing fire alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. The position involves conducting service calls, performing system testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues, and preparing accurate service tickets and reports.
Duties & Responsibilities- Service, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems for established customers.
- Conduct service calls, system testing, and inspections in compliance with prescribed standards.
- Perform emergency troubleshooting and on-site repairs.
- Identify code and non-conformance issues.
- Program fire alarm panels.
- Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed service tickets and reports.
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service.
- Valid MA Class D Low Voltage License required;
MA Electrician License preferred. - Minimum 5 years of fire alarm experience (required).
- Strong knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to be available for scheduled on-call assignments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- MA Fire Alarm License or Electrician License required.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
