Job Description – Sr. Licensed Fire Alarm Technician

Position Summary

FEI is seeking a Sr.
Licensed Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing fire alarm systems for established customers on a scheduled basis. The position involves conducting service calls, performing system testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs, identifying code issues, and preparing accurate service tickets and reports.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Service, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems for established customers.
  • Conduct service calls, system testing, and inspections in compliance with prescribed standards.
  • Perform emergency troubleshooting and on-site repairs.
  • Identify code and non-conformance issues.
  • Program fire alarm panels.
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed service tickets and reports.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications
  • Valid MA Class D Low Voltage License required;
    MA Electrician License preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of fire alarm experience (required).
  • Strong knowledge of applicable fire codes and regulations.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to be available for scheduled on-call assignments.
Education & Certification Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • MA Fire Alarm License or Electrician License required.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Schedule
  • Full-time, 8-hour shift
  • On-call availability required
  • Overtime opportunities available
