We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive critical automation initiatives and design versatile software features that meet diverse customer and industry needs.

• Take pride in delivering quality software while adhering to industry best practices.
• Produce clean, scalable, secure, and maintainable code.
• Develop web applications using front‑end technologies, including Angular and React.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support large‑scale SQL databases containing transaction and case data.
• Interface with business‑side counterparts to convert requirements into well‑designed systems, creating scalable and performant processes in partnership with stakeholders and designers.
• Work closely with BAs to understand business needs, build reasonable systems, appropriately design to satisfy those needs, and introduce complexity only when necessary.
• Be an active part of an Agile team: participate in code review, contribute to design discussions, ask questions, share work, pick up tasks as needed.
• Deliver on critical business and technical initiatives including automation efforts, integrating AI solutions, and enhancing compliance solutions.

• 3‑5 years of experience writing enterprise applications, excited about Angular, React, Node Js, Java, and SQL.
• Proficient with relational databases (Oracle or Postgres), writing scalable backend processes and RESTful web services using Java or Node Js.
• Familiar with front‑end technologies such as Angular, Angular Material, and React.
• Interested in integrating AI tools with application development to enhance productivity.
• Committed to learning and keeping up to date with new technologies and industry best practices.
• Excellent engineer and problem solver with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Intellectually curious with a demonstrated commitment to continuous growth.

This position is based in our Medford, MA headquarters. Local candidates only.

Compensation: base salary is experience dependent and can range from $100,000 to $125,000 per year (based in MA). FRT also offers an annual bonus.
