Job Title: Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for applying accounting principles to prepare accurate financial reports, analyze financial data, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process and supports both internal and external financial reporting requirements.

• Coordinate the monthly accounting close for all entities.
• Prepare financial and budget-to-actual reports for investors, funders, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the annual financial statement audits.
• Record financial transactions from multiple sources, including:
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Bank activity
• Credit card transactions
• Purchase orders
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all agency-required documentation and training.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related business field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Net Suite is a plus.
• Experience in nonprofit or real estate development sectors is a plus.
