If you have a hands‑on accounting background that includes management experience, you’re going to want to hear about this position! One of Long Island’s most tenured companies is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee a small team. This role will be very hands‑on, reporting to the CFO of this large organization. This is a temp/consulting position with a pay rate in the range of $50 to $60/hour.

Duration is not defined, but should be at least 3 months. Benefits are available after the first month of employment.

• Reporting to the CFO
• Managing a staff of 2, hands‑on handling month‑end close and day‑to‑day duties
• Monitor inventory and cash accounting processes
• Assist with external audits as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus at least 7 years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing, distribution industry experience is preferred
• Management experience, good leader, able to motivate both direct and indirect reports
• Strong technical systems aptitude
