Job OverviewThe associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercept consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. They maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

Expected
Hours:
Up to 25 hours per week (company may adjust based on business needs).
- Gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms).
- Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred. - Computer
Skills:
Proficient with personal computer or mobile device, using applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Language
Skills:
English required; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
Stand and walk throughout the shift; use hands and fingers to handle items; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; maintain visual ability to read instructions and perform events; stoop, kneel, squat; climb or step on a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a fully laden wheeled demonstration cart;
prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
