Join Our Team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician Make a Meaningful Impact on Patients' Lives We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician to deliver exceptional care to patients facing serious illnesses. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, balancing on-site and telehealth responsibilities, and providing comfort and support to patients and their families.
Your expertise will be vital in guiding care plans, managing complex symptoms, and improving quality of life for vulnerable populations.
Required Skills:
Active Ohio Medical License and DEA registration Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Hospice/Palliative Medicine (with substantial hospice experience if from FM or IM) Proven experience in hospice care, symptom management, and end-of-life support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to work both onsite and via telehealth as needed BLS certification Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with telehealth platforms Prior experience in a hospice or palliative care setting Knowledge of crisis management and complex patient care Ability to handle high patient volumes and complex cases Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution Residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with hospice certification or experience Prior outpatient and inpatient hospice care experience Other Requirements:
Be available for call duties 4-6 nights per month and approximately one weekend per month Willingness to work onsite as this may become a requirement later in January Travel and related reimbursements when applicable This opportunity offers competitive pay, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
