Locums Hospice and Palliative Medicine Clinic + Call Medford, ORWhy This Role

• Long-term locums opportunity with full-time weekday schedule
• Blend of onsite and telehealth care with flexibility for telehealth-only candidates
• Shared call model with NP support and established hospice census
Assignment Details
• Start Date ASAP
• End Date Ongoing
• Coverage Type Scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Practice Settings Telehealth and Outpatient
• Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p with lunch as workflow allows
• Guaranteed Hours 8 hours per day
• OT Applies After 9 hours per day
• Call Schedule 4-6 weeknights per month plus approximately 1 weekend per month
• Call Type Beeper with 20-30 minute response time
• Call Coverage Shared between Medford and Portland
• Admissions Required No
Clinical Details
• Hospice and palliative medicine coverage with primary responsibility in Medford
• Current census approximately 62 patients in Medford with backup coverage for Portland
• Weeknight call varies from minimal symptom management to multiple admissions
• Weekend call may include higher admission volume depending on census
• Types of calls include IDT participation, consultations, medical consults, telehealth visits, and CTIs
• Support staff includes 4-10 RNs and one NP with occasional overlap on call
Requirements
• Board certified or truly board eligible within five years of residency
• Active Oregon medical license required
• Active Oregon DEA required
• BLS required
• FM or IM candidates must have substantial hospice experience
• Clean professional history suitable for immediate start
Compensation
• Rates Facility is accepting bids. High priority, rates not capped
• Malpractice Provided
• Travel Reimbursed
