• Plan and direct maintenance activities for hydro plant outages.
• Operate equipment.
• Arc and gas weld power plant components and perform specialized work as a welder.
• Repair turbines and bearing systems.
• Add or replace packing as required.
• Repair and maintain governor and lubrication oil systems.
• Repair and upgrade cooling water systems.
• Repair hydro conveyance systems.
• Perform machining, equipment alignment, and precision work.
• Repair and upgrade turbine and generator auxiliary systems.
• Repair and maintain hydro plant facilities, including roads, trails, bridges, mixing and pouring of concrete.
