• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management matters.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
• Prepare detailed memoranda and presentations describing key attributes of client companies and industries.
• Assist in reviewing and analyzing tax aspects of acquisition and merger agreements and drafting tax opinion letters and memoranda.
• Identify and analyze tax risks and opportunities, advising on alternative tax strategies for acquisition, disposition, and restructuring.
• Review, assess, and advise clients on tax computations reflected in financial models; assist with quantitative and qualitative tax data analysis.
• Gather data, review documents, and prepare reports.
• Conduct research and financial analysis of target companies.
• Perform due diligence for both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Design transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues.
• Provide negotiation support.
• Communicate with business owners to ensure exceptional client service.
• Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; or a graduate degree with 4+ years of related work experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in a mid‑to‑large professional services firm.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or JD/LLM required.
• Experience in tax due diligence, deal structuring, post‑acquisition planning, and/or inbound/outbound transaction consulting, including international tax research, planning, and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills; advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong written communication abilities.
• Exceptional client service orientation, commitment to continuous learning, ethical integrity, and a strong sense of urgency and quality.

The compensation range for this role is $190,000 to $330,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
