Additional Position Details: FTE: 0.600000 | Part Time | 3rd Shift - Nights. For this role, candidates at either the Emergency Services Tech 1 or the Emergency Services Tech 2 level will be considered. Details on qualifications for both levels noted below. Both levels pay extra shift differentials (on top of the hourly base rate) for evening, night, and weekend hours.
Wage is based on level of position and years of relevant experience.
ES Tech 2: Typical Starting Range is $21.87 and up (based on years of relevant experience)
ES Tech 1: Typical Starting Range is $20.53 and up (based on years of relevant experience).
Position SummaryThe Emergency Services (ES) Techs for Asante assist in providing care to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA or MD while working as a team member & help promote the functioning of Emergency Services.
Qualifications For The Emergency Services Tech 1:- EMT:
Emergency Medical Technician certified by the Oregon Department of Human Services required upon start. - CNA-2:
Certified Nursing Assistant 2 licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) may be considered in lieu of EMT for Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC) and Asante Ashland Community Hospital (AACH) only. - BLS:
Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider required upon start.
- ACLS:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - CMOT:
Certified Monitor Technician - PALS:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PHTLS:
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
- Previous work or training in the medical field required.
- ONE of the following is required upon start:
Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) certified by OHA: or Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate (EMT-I) certified by the OHA; or equivalent. - BLS:
Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider required upon start.
- ACLS:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support - EMT-P: (Natl or OR) EMT-Paramedic certified by the National Associate of Emergency Medical Technicians or State of Oregon
- PALS Instructor:
Pediatric Life Support Instructor
- Competitive starting wage.
- An additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position).
