The Respiratory Care Department Tech helps provide care to patients in critical care areas, general medicine, and emergency department under the direction of the Respiratory Therapist (RT) and in conjunction with the Mid-Level and provider. They work as a team member and help promote the functioning of patient care services.
Position Qualifications ExperienceWorked/working or trained/training in the medical field is required.
Certification/Licensure- BLS:
Basic Life Support is required upon start - AEMT:
Advanced Emergency Medical Technician certified by OHA – OR – EMT-I Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate certified by the OHA – OR equivalent is required upon start - EMT-P: (Natl or OR) EMT-Paramedic certified by the National Associate of Emergency Medical Technicians or State of Oregon is preferred
