Position Overview
We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR), under general supervision, to perform a variety of support functions for our department and/or program. Duties may include greeting, instructing, and directing patients and visitors; scheduling, registering, and obtaining pre‑authorizations for treatment from insurance, Medicare, or other agencies for patients; serving as liaison between patient and medical support staff; functioning as cashier, receptionist, and referral clerk;
maintaining records and completing data entry; and monitoring office services and supplies.
For the PSR 2 level, the representative will also ensure that all provider schedules are populated, respond to telephones according to established protocols, and capture complete registration information before or during each patient visit. Collaborative interaction with patients, physicians, other staff members, and management, patient satisfaction, and accurate processing of all front‑end functions are integral to the success of this position.

Starting Wage
- PSR 1: $16.99–$23.38 per hour, depending on experience
- PSR 2: $18.09–$24.88 per hour, depending on experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required (both levels)
- For PSR 1:
Previous clerical, administrative, healthcare, or customer service experience is required - For PSR 2:
Minimum 2 years of relevant front‑desk customer‑related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting is required
