The Popcorn Formulator creates and maintains slurry batches and produces caramel corn to department quality and efficiency standards. The Popcorn Formulator position will operate the Popcorn manufacturing equipment, weigh, measure, and blend ingredients to formulate Moose Munch batches in a safe and efficient manner. The Formulator will also monitor ingredients to ensure continuous production and maintain production records, lot dates and pallet counts.
In addition, they are responsible for notifying the supervisor of inventory shortages that could disrupt the production flow.
- Assure safe and efficient operations and produce acceptable quality products at or above standard.
- Work with or support a team environment in manufaturing.
- Maintain accurate formulation and lot tracing information.
- Maintain accurate inventories an minimize scrap/waste
- Alert supervisor to inventory shortages and quality issues that affect production flow.
- Follow all safety and food safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
