POSITION DETAILS

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma‑informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co‑occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a full‑time LPN to join the ARC team in our Fresh Start Withdrawal Management medical program to provide trauma‑informed patient care to clients during the early first steps of their recovery journey.

The successful candidate will work approximately 36 hours a week in our medically monitored detox and withdrawal management unit in collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary team of providers.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Work under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor and Medical Director
  • Provide withdrawal management and care to patients in advance of potential admission into residential treatment
  • Work with clients and the public with a trauma‑informed and compassionate approach
  • Maintain and administer medications as ordered
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication logs.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) school of nursing
  • Current Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Experience in addictions treatment or similar settings preferred
  • Ability to perform pre‑admission medical screening, nursing assessments, and collect other pertinent medical data
  • Maintain and follow provider orders and instructions
  • Accurately complete required chart notes and patient records
  • Professional demeanor and ability to appropriately oversee CNAs
  • Passion for trauma‑informed patient care and service for at‑risk and vulnerable patients
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with frequent interruptions
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Moderate computer proficiency, including MS office

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation and benefits include:
  • Most ARC employees are scheduled four‑days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
  • Starting wage ranging from $36.00 to $41.40 per hour, depending on credentials, skills and experience
  • $4.00 per hour additional differential for eligible night shift hours
  • $3.00 per hour additional differential for eligible weekend, day shift hours
  • Employer‑paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
  • Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
  • Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year:
    New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
