Neonatal/ NICU Nurse
Seeking NNP to join the region's only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing advanced neonatal care through a dedicated neonatal transport program that supports nine referring hospitals across the service area. The NICU cares for approximately 350 babies annually and has capacity for up to 32 patients.
- Collaborative physician-APP practice model
- Flexible scheduling for NNPs - could be 12 or 24 hour shifts. MDs are 8-10 hours per day with call as backup to NNP
- Multidisciplinary rounds including pharmacy, dietary, MD, NNP and RN’s at the bedside with family. Additional disciplines join depending on care.

The patient population offers an attractive blend of neonatal medicine:
- 65% Level II newborns
- 30% Level III newborns
- 5% other neonatal populations
- 22 weeks or older
