Loss Prevention Officer

This is a Full-Time hourly position, shifts will vary, and pay will be $15.50-$25.56, determined by experience. Sherm's Thunderbird Markets offers 401k, paid vacations, medical insurance and DPSST training.

As a Loss Prevention Officer you will work under the direction of the Loss Prevention Manager. This hourly position is responsible for the detection, apprehension, or deterrence of Customer and Employee activity that would otherwise result in a loss to Company assets. Loss Prevention Officers assist in promoting and monitoring compliance to Company policies and procedures related to theft prevention, safety, and inventory control.

Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently or in a team environment. The applicant must be able to pass all State and Federal background checks and will be screened for drugs prior to employment.

• Prior experience in Loss Prevention or educational background in Law Enforcement preferred.
• Ability to make decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a Diploma or GED equivalent.
• DPSST Certified preferred but not required.
