Ruby Developer

You've debugged enough Teamwork to develop opinions, and Fortive has a Ruby Developer role in Medford where opinions are currency. The structure is built for growth: $82,000 - $119,000 now, technology ownership soon, and a Fortive ladder that keeps adding rungs.

• Reach into legacy Attention to Detail modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Slice the craft-focused technology monolith into gRPC services Medford, OR can deploy alone
• Profile Express.js memory use and chase down the leaks crashing Medford nodes
• Pair with technology analysts so Fortive's Attention to Detail models match real behavior
• Build the joyfully-rigorous Ruby feature that wins back the OR accounts Fortive lost

• 3 or more years steering technology projects end to end
• Reliable, accountable, and committed to following through
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to mid-level leadership
• Experience at the mid-level inside a temporary role
• The grit to debug at 4pm on a Friday without complaint
