Medicine Hat Toyota is looking to add to our team. We are looking for a Parts Advisor tojoin our business. This fast-paced, hands‑on position involves supporting our parts customers and technicians, and works closely with other departments in the dealership. If you are someone with proven experience in an automotive parts environment, who has an insatiable drive for success and leadership, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Maintaining a departmentcentered around the customers service experience.
- Answer telephone calls, indicate prices, and provide any other information.
- Identifying parts and usingparts catalogues
- Researching new products
- Shipping, receiving and coordinatingdelivery of parts
- Providing service and developing relationships with customers and wholesale accounts
- Communicating effectively with customers and coworkers regarding the status of parts orders
- Invoicing, supportingservice and sales staff
- Ensuring our manufacturerspolicies and procedures are adhered to
- All types of service work aredelivered efficiently, with a high level of quality control.
- Maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with dealership health and safety policies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Customer relationship skills including listening and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Ability to manage customer complaints and resolve difficult situations.
- Organized and pays attention to detail.
- Ability to follow set and standard procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Flexible and open to change;take on special tasks as needed.
- Ability to work independently and take self-initiative
- Must have a valid driver'slicense and a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Preference will be given to those with Automotive Parts experience
- High School Diploma
