Medicine Hat Public School Division is hiring two full-time Educational Assistants.

Your role will be critical in helping K-6 students manage their learning journeys, implementing support plans, and nurturing their development. Collaboration with teachers and providing effective learning strategies will be key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students through flexible in-class and small-group instruction

• Assist in executing individual support and behavior plans

• Work collaboratively with teachers and learning teams

• Promote positive behavioral practices and emotional support

• Oversee student activities during breaks and classroom time

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience

• Background in youth care counseling or social work is an asset

• Experience working with a diverse student population

• Knowledge of childhood development principles

• Strong skills in communication and teamwork
