Position: Math and Science Teacher for Junior High
Brooks Junior High School is looking for a passionate Math and Science Teacher for junior high students for the  school year. This full-time position emphasizes supporting diverse learning needs within an inclusive environment.

In this role, you will plan exciting lessons, nurture student growth, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high achievement levels. You will also utilize various assessment strategies, facilitate direct support, and engage with families regarding student progress. Plus, you'll play a key role in managing extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a stimulating learning environment tailored to individual needs

• Leverage assessment tools to track and communicate progress

• Collaborate with educational professionals on student strategies

• Support and guide student support staff

• Oversee extracurricular activities and events

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and current Alberta Teaching Certification

• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction practices

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents

• Knowledge of inclusive educational principles

• Complete a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
