Position: Full-Time Practical Nursing Instructor
Elevate nursing education with Medicine Hat College as a Full-Time Practical Nursing Instructor. Deliver engaging theory, lab, and clinical instruction starting July 1, 2026.

As part of the Yuill School of Health & Community Services, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of nursing students. This full-time instructor position requires a strong commitment to evidence-informed teaching practices and continuous program improvement. Ideal candidates should demonstrate expertise in nursing and a passion for student success through interprofessional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theory and clinical instruction for nursing students

• Engage in program development and quality improvement processes

• Provide meaningful assessments and feedback on student performance

• Collaborate with faculty for interprofessional education

• Participate in curriculum development and evaluation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma

• Current registration with Alberta nursing regulatory body

• Minimum 5 years of full-time nursing practice

• Prior experience in teaching environments preferred

• Strong communication and computer skills
