Herald School is seeking a dedicated and skilled teacher for its Specialized Programs. You will program for diverse students, implement inclusive practices, and lead educational assistants. Experience in life skills curriculum and understanding of communication devices is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create programming for students with complex needs

• Implement inclusive practices and differentiated instruction

• Lead a team of educational assistants in the classroom

• Plan proactively for challenging behaviors

• Design life skills curriculum focusing on functional literacy

Requirements:

• Strong background in inclusive education

• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices

• Knowledge of specialized teaching strategies

• Familiarity with the Collaborative Response Model
