Position: Full-Time Junior Humanities Teacher Role

BERRY CREEK COMMUNITY SCHOOL is seeking a dynamic educator for a temporary position starting in the 2026–2027 school year due to maternity leave. The role requires a firm grasp of the Junior High Humanities curriculum, including innovative delivery of lessons and activities. Candidates should demonstrate their capability in creating a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging Humanities lessons

• Cultivate an inclusive and stimulating classroom climate

• Implement creative teaching strategies for diverse learners

• Use technology effectively in lesson delivery

• Establish great rapport with students

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate is mandatory

• Must complete a Criminal Record Check
