Crestwood STEM School Temporary Teacher

Crestwood STEM School is looking for a temporary full-time Grade 5/6 Teacher for the  school year. Lead an inclusive classroom that empowers students as innovators and problem solvers.

This role at Crestwood requires a dedicated educator adept at fostering collaboration and communication in an engaging learning environment. Candidates will employ impactful instruction and utilize the Science of Reading and Concrete Representational Abstract methods to enhance literacy and numeracy.

Your role will also include building community partnerships and participating in extra-curricular activities.

• Create an inclusive and flexible learning space

• Work collaboratively with school staff and community

• Incorporate Design Thinking in educational planning

• Use technology effectively in the classroom

• Encourage extra-curricular participation for community building

Requirements:

• Teaching experience in Grade 5/6

• Proven collaborative and communication abilities

• Insight into innovative instructional strategies

• Familiarity with the Science of Reading

• Enthusiasm for community engagement in education
