Position: Math Science Teacher Role in Brooks
St. Joseph's Collegiate in Brooks, Alberta, is hiring a full-time interim Science teacher for the  school year. Ideal candidates will have a passion for teaching Science and may also provide Math instruction.

We are targeting a qualified educator for grades 9 to 12 at our school that serves approximately 450 students. Preference will be given to Catholic candidates looking to teach in a faith-based environment. The position is linked to complexity funding, ensuring necessary resources for student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Science instruction to high school students

• Provide Math support where applicable

• Participate in faith-based school programs

• Build relationships with students and community members

• Engage in collaborative planning with fellow teachers

Requirements:

• Education degree with subject specialization

• Familiarity with Science curriculum standards

• Preference for Catholic Education certification

• Ability to promote a Christian environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
