Position: Supportive Educational Assistant Role

This probationary role offers 30 hours per week at Elm Street School. You will help students access learning, provide behavioral support, and implement individualized strategies. Your work will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience for students with a range of needs in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with various learning abilities

• Support small groups and facilitate learning access

• Implement behavior and self-regulation strategies

• Engage with teachers and school staff collaboratively

• Supervise students during lunch and recess periods

Requirements:

• Certificate as an Educational Assistant or relevant experience

• Experience with learners in a school environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to adjust to classroom needs and dynamics

• Experience working with children from early learning to grade 6
