Medicine Hat Christian School seeks a faith-based Grade 3/4 Teacher. Medicine Hat Christian School is a K to 9 school. It serves approximately 300 students and is an alternative Christian faith education program within the Medicine Hat Public School Division. The successful candidate will promote the school mission which is inspiring spiritual, academic, and personal growth through Christ-centered learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all subjects in a combined Grade 3 & 4 class. In this role, the candidate will develop and implement engaging, effective lessons; provide individualized support and enrichment to help students reach their full potential; foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation; and assess and monitor student progress while providing timely, meaningful feedback to both students and parents.

Preference will be given to the candidate who can :

• support a Christian f aith perspective in teaching, learning and relationships
• facilitate students and parents in having a personal connection with the classroom and school
• experience in teaching combined classes
• innovate , l ev erage technology , and differentiate instruction to ensure all students can succeed
• engage in a Collaborative Response Model
