We are seeking applications for a Food Services Worker, at the Brooks Composite High School. Reporting to the School Principal, the Food Service Worker is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the school cafeteria providing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, with prompt, friendly service, while upholding Grasslands values.

This is a full-time, temporary position beginning immediately, and ending on December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

this position is under temporary contract, duration of this position could be shortened or extended based on the return of the person being replaced.

Brooks Composite High School is located in the city of Brooks, Alberta. The city has a population of approximately 14,000 people is located In South Eastern Alberta along the Trans-Canada Highway between Calgary and Medicine Hat. BCHS is a high school of about 620 students in grades 10-12. We offer a full range of all the academic offerings in addition to a well respected vocational program that includes Mechanics, Construction, Cosmetology, Foods and Digital Media.

We also offer a fine arts program that includes visual arts and performing arts including Music and Drama. In addition, we are pleased to host the district Inclusive Education Program and have a large ELL program that serves the needs of many newcomers to Canada. We are also very proud of the athletic and extracurricular programs at our school. We run a number of teams and clubs that provide students a great number of opportunities to participate in the life of the school.
