Gas Plant Operator Pembina

Become an essential part of Pembina's team as a Gas Plant Operator at the Empress facility. This role focuses on safely operating processes while ensuring compliance and responding to plant conditions.

As an Operator with Pembina Pipeline Corporation, you will work at the Empress Gas Plant, a top-tier NGL processing facility. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing operations in a safety-first environment.

Your role involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule and contributions to production efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Pembina’s Zero by Choice safety culture

• Participate in plant commissioning and operational readiness

• Monitor and optimize facility systems and unit operations

• Troubleshoot process abnormalities and implement corrective actions

• Coordinate with teams for equipment maintenance and reliability

Requirements:

• 2nd Class or 3rd Class Steam Ticket in Alberta

• Experience in Cryogenic, Fractionation, or Cogeneration

• DCS experience in plant performance optimization

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
