We’re looking to add a Engineer, Design (Mold Design) in Singapore. The position will be based in our Univac Site in Woodlands.

• Be responsible for Product analyzing, DFM, Tool design 3D and 2D drafting, Tool review and debugging.
• Construct mold design layout and conduct mold design review meeting.
• Design precision plastic injection molds in accordance with the requirements.
• Mold management and liaise closely with internal and external customers on matters relating to mold design.
• Preparation of detail bill of material and maintain thorough documentation of hardcopy and softcopy.
• Participate in the First-Off Tool review and assess the suitability of the tool for production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Diploma in precision engineering, mechanical, manufacturing or any relevant engineering discipline with 2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Unigraphics and Microsoft office applications
• Familiar with engineering drawings and GD&T
• Good verbal and written skills to communicate with all levels
• Must be a team player and willing to take up extra responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in 3‑D modelling and knowledge of GD&T
• Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and analyzing tooling issue.
• Must be able to develop complex designs to the point of manufacture and release to production.
• Has the knowledge of plastics & elastomers,
• Experience in making LSR mold design as well as packaging mold design preferred,
