Position: Engineer for Plant Operations
Join Evonik Canada Inc. as a Plant Engineer in Medicine Hat. This full-time position involves overseeing engineering activities, maintenance, and safety initiatives for optimal operations.
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of engineering projects, managing maintenance departments to enhance safety and productivity. You’ll ensure that all operations comply with regulatory and quality standards, working closely with the Plant Manager and other stakeholders to improve plant reliability and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage engineering projects and reliability enhancements

• Direct capital investment programs for timely project delivery

• Optimize safety and efficiency in maintenance operations

• Evaluate maintenance activities for continuous improvement

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Mechanical

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills

• Financial and operational process understanding

• Knowledge of HSE and quality standards

• Availability for required travel
