Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening, offering expert advice, and maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to enhance the client experience and increase sales
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks and provide aftercare recommendations for continued satisfaction
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
Experience
- Previous experience as a barber or stylist is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated individuals
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, sanitation procedures, and retail sales strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss styles, treatments, and product recommendations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
